A few days ago i was just lying in my king size mattress and watching the clouds trough the window. Day turned out to be amazing, about -11 degrees Celsius, sun was shining.  I was planning to work, but pretty often something stupid happens to me and i feel the need to do something without any apparent reason. So i took my car keys  and went to my car. I started the engine and turned on some finnish radio station, got out to smoke a cigarette while the engine was heating up. Then an idea occured to me that i should head north.

So i started driving.

Then i left the city and took smaller roads on purpose i encountered the first reindeer on the road i ever saw. I have heard that reindeers are stupid, but didnt imagine that they can be so retarded. They are afraid of people, but not afraid of cars or trucks at all. I stopped by in a parking place and filmed it and then reindeer passed me by i did some racing with him :) but it was hard to film while driving 1-2meters next to reindeer.

Later i came across a huge lake.

I dont know if anyone can find random driving interesting , but i really love it, probably because it gives you the feeling of freedom, you relax, notice things you usually dont care or dont see and this doesnt work so well if you are going with friends or family. I have driven about 100km that day and spent around 3 hours, came back home in really good mood and with great emotions.

It is located about 10km from Rovaniemi city at the end of Christmas Town, which is very easy to find if you ask anyone local. Entrance costs 6 euros and they also offer husky rides, which are pretty expensive if i remember correctly it was 30 euros to go one lap ~1-2km and you have to stay on the sledges, you cant be the musher and longer ones costs around 100 euros, but you can be the musher on them. So visiting this park was really a great experience, people working in the park was really nice, calm and you can notice that they were very happy with their job and loved all the dogs. Husky park is quiet small, but still i have spent around two hours in it, just taking pictures, filming or petting the leaddog “Fika”. Also i talked with musher girl about huskies, their history and so on. After a few weeks when i realized that i will come back to Finland i wrote this park an email asking for job, but unfortunately they already had 3 trainees.
